Come enjoy a night of amazing musical performances from theater professionals, students and staff as we raise money to provide more support and opportunities to New Design High School students.
About Design Your Future, Inc.:
At Design Your Future Inc., we believe young people deserve more than just support—they deserve real opportunities to lead, create, and build the future they imagine.
We work directly with public high school students in New York City, equipping them with the tools, mentorship, and hands-on experiences they need to thrive academically, creatively, and professionally.
Why This Matters
Across NYC, students, especially Black and Brown youth, face deep opportunity gaps in education, wellness, and career exposure. At DYF, we fill those gaps with:
Much like college majors, the House system at New Design helps students focus their learning around their interests, strengths, and future goals. Each House offers a focused pathway that connects coursework, college exploration, and career exposure to prepare students for life beyond high school.
A student’s House serves as both an academic pathway and a home base, helping define course selection, learning experiences, and opportunities for connection and mentorship throughout high school. DYF supports:
The House of Design is for students who are curious, creative, and excited by how ideas become visuals, products, and experiences.
The Service & Discovery House welcomes students interested in helping professions—or for students still discovering how they want to be of service to the world. This House focuses on careers in education, nursing, social work and counseling, EMS, public safety, and community health.
The Hustle House empowers students to turn ideas into action. This House blends business, marketing, communication, and leadership with creativity and real-world application.
The STEAM Punk House is where students explore how science, technology, engineering, art, and math come together to solve complex problems. Using the design process, students engage in hands-on learning in areas like biodesign, 3D modeling, environmental sustainability, coding, and emerging technologies.
